Glyconutrient Recipes

Glyconutrient Powder:
Dr. David Bird has listed a good recipe above. There are many possible variations for home made glyconutrients.

Glyconutrient Tea:
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon of glyconutrients
  • Sweeten to taste with Trehalose, Xylitol or Stevia (optional)
Place your glyconutrient powder and sweetener in a dry cup. Heat liquid slightly (lukewarm, not boiling) before pouring into cup. It is very important to pour the water from a distance as if you were trying to create a froth, this helps disperse the powder and avoid a tendency for the powder to fish-eye or form large floating globs.

Purpose: To irrigate, coat and nourish the Mucous Membranes and Biofilms of the Digestive track.

Glyconutrient Ice-cream:
  • 1 1/2 cups of milk or water
  • 1 teaspoon of glyconutrients
  • 1 scoop of whey powder
  • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil or olive oil (virgin)
  • 1 cup fruit (frozen is OK)
  • 1/2 teaspoon guar gum (optional) or...
  • Sweeten to taste with Trehalose, Xylitol or Stevia (optional)
Pour liquid in blender, turn on to low speed. Slowly add powder and oil (melted).  Blend at high for 1 minute then add fruit. Yields 2 servings at 8 fluid ounces in five cup blender. Place in ice-cream maker (larger batch if needed) or in the freezer for an hour.  If frozen, microwave for one minute and stir to make ice-cream soft.

Cautions: Some blenders need more liquid if mixture is too thick.  See your manufactures recommendations for run time.

Comments: There are many good concentrated Probiotics in pill form that can be used to enhance digestion and they are often superior to common yogurt in promoting intestinal health. We recommend Dr. David Williams ProBiotic Advantage and Natrol BioBead® may be found at your health food store.

Cautions: Please consult with your health professional on what methods are best for you.
